The main focus of Mr. Lilly’s practice is
estate planning and probate. In his estate planning practice,
Mr. Lilly has significant experience preparing everything from
basic wills to very sophisticated high wealth estate plans
involving various revocable and irrevocable trusts and family
partnerships. He is also actively engaged in all areas of
probate law and handles estates of all sizes. Mr. Lilly also
focuses his practice on the formation of and counsel to
closely-held businesses, limited liability companies and
partnerships and related tax and business planning.
Consultation, advice and preparation of documents include
buy-sell agreements, employment and compensation contracts and
employee manuals as well as the sale and acquisition of
businesses. In his intellectual property practice, Mr. Lilly
prepares and prosecutes trademark and copyright applications
through the federal trademark and copyright offices and
internationally. He is also an adjunct professor at
Capital University Law School, teaching a class on estate
planning in the L.L.M. program.
